Finding the right fit

Is a residential care community the right step?

Choosing care for yourself or a parent is a big decision. Here’s a clear, honest look at who an RCFE is designed for — and when a different level of care makes more sense.
A good fit when…

An RCFE is ideal for an older adult who…

Our community is built for adults — usually aged 60 and over — who want to keep their independence but could use dependable, everyday support close at hand.
Can no longer safely or comfortably live entirely on their own
Needs help managing medications, cooking, or keeping up with hygiene
Would benefit from company, structure, and a watchful eye
Does not require continuous, 24/7 skilled nursing care

What an RCFE provides

Non-medical care, room and board, and varying levels of personal assistance — in a home-like setting that promotes independence and dignity.
Help with daily living & personal care
Meals, housekeeping, and laundry
Medication reminders and 24-hour supervision

When skilled nursing is needed instead

Because an RCFE is a non-medical setting, it isn’t the right fit for those needing continuous clinical care, such as:
Complex wound care
Daily intravenous (IV) injections
Ventilator or other ongoing medical equipment
Still unsure? That’s completely normal — and we’re happy to help you think it through, with no pressure.
For families

A conversation, not a commitment

The best way to know if Pinnacle is right for your loved one is to see it for yourself. Visit, meet our team, ask every question on your mind, and picture daily life here.
We’ll walk you through care options, what’s included, and availability — and we’ll be honest if we think a different level of care would serve your family better.
